
27/9, MIRI (APPLEBOX PICTURES) – Another extravagant grand ball night held by the Student Council of Curtin University of Technology this year, the theme Masquerade: The Night of Elegance held with a full swing.
Curtin Masquerade Nite is an evening of glamour and glitz, and organised especially for the students. Eastwood Valley Gold & Country Club swarmed with students with elegance and mask along with the theme.
The event started with speech and grand opening by Melissa Liew, the President of Student Council Curtin University of Technology and the foods were served with style right after the opening.
While the participants enjoying their feast, band performances from the Curtin Music Society added in the joyfulness.
Following the tradition of prom night, this year’s Prom King and Queen were Fred Onyari Munyua, a Marketing & Management student and Victoria Lynette Willie, an Accounting & Finance student.
The event ended with the floor opened for the dances while the band played.
Once again the Student Council reached the objective to let the students to exprience social gathering with peers; this will become useful in establishing social networking with one another.
